Even thoughAxl Rose doesn't want to go into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, he'll still be inducted with the rest of Guns n' Roses Saturday night in Cleveland. The Rock Hall issued a statement saying, "We are sorry Axl will not be able to accept his induction in person." The only other artist to decline an induction was The Sex Pistols in 2006.
Some additions have been made to ceremonies Saturday night:
This is no joke. The organizers of the Summer Olympics in London sent a letter to The Who's managerBill Curbishley asking if -- get this -- Keith Moon could perform at the Games. Apparently they didn't know that Moon has been dead for three decades. Curbishley says, "I E-mailed back saying Keith now resides in Golders Green crematorium, having lived up to The Who's anthemic line, 'I hope I die before I get old.' If they have a round table, some glasses and candles, we might contact him."
Moon died on September 7th, 1978 at age 32 from an accidental prescription drug overdose.
Hellyeah have pushed back the release of their third album, Band of Brothers, from June 5th until July 17th. They plan to start their summer tour around the new release date.
