A new Stone Sour album is expected to be available in October.  The band is int he studio now recording the as-yet-untitled album.
 

Shinedown, Godsmack, Staind, Papa Roach and Adelita's Way will all be on the third annual Uproar Festival. The tour has expanded by adding a second stage that will feature P.O.D., Redlight King, Thousand Foot Krutch and many more.  Uproar will hit 30 cities in August and September----dates and venues will be announced soon.
 

Sublime with Rome have announced a summer tour that will see them playing many dates with Cypress Hill and Pepper.  The jaunt starts July 11th in Pittsburgh and hits 19 cities before wrapping up August 30th in Florida.
 

Queen drummer Roger Taylor said he has no plans to perform with a hologram of late singer Freddie Mercury.

Taylor said:  "It's the real one or no hologram for me.  I don't think I want to.  Were somebody else to use a hologram of Freddie, I would have no objection, It doesn't sit too well with me.  I don't want to appear with a hologram of my dear friend."
