The longest running stable on Rock105 was the Pure Metal Meltdown, 2 hours of the hardest rock we could find every Saturday night... On September 21st, 2009 The Pure Metal Meltdown was transformed into the MIDNIGHT METAL MELTDOWN. This was done to give the metal heads of Eastern North Carolina a nightly, one hour, dose of metal - instead of once a week for two hours. The responce was so huge to the change over that the Midnight Metal Meltdown continues on with the tradition it's original version set...
